FRED KASPER

was featured in the Santa Barbara News Press on June 9, 2000 after a phone interview with cultural writer Starshine Roshell. A press release and Duo Galant brochure given to the newspaper by Fred's partner, Daniel Jenka concerning their upcoming concert had been noticed and appreciated. As a result, along with this excellently written feature story, the Duo Galant concert was cited as a 'best bet' musical event in the paper that week. This helped to draw an audience of over a hundred to the concert on June 15, 2000. Here is the article, as it appeared:
