Thursdays in October: a review
See Don Kingfisher Campbell, right, Poetry Guru of Pasadena, at his wonderful work with teenagers at Lumina Academy. His workshop is a Thursday after school poetry event, each week an invited guest poet helps with some theme poems and a writing exercise. This was Kath's day and she had the participants in a good mood. The theme being connecting with one another, active punctuation such as music, dance, and drama as engaging ways to involve others in the poem. At work on poems
Some poetic choreography--Kath and Don are impressed. That's Jo Ann dancing her poem.
The following week it was CaLokie's turn as guest poet. Kath came to cheer him on and provide props.
